Part 2 Chapter 2 Summary

Here's chapter 2 of part 2. And the notes:
Winston heads out to the country following her directions. He doesn’t think she’s a spy anymore. When the girl arrives, she takes him to a clearing surrounded by small trees. Winston is worried about microphones, but Julia has used the place before and anyway there wouldn’t be any in the clearing.
She tells him her name is Julia, he’s a little embarrassed by how old he is and how he looks, but she doesn’t care. They kiss, and start, but Winston is too nervous, so they talk a little. She says she’s been with scores of men, all in the party and he said he thought she was part of Thought Police. She laughs and says she volunteers and acts like a good party girl because that makes it so she can break the bigger rules (for example, she has chocolate she got from the black market).
Winston tells her that the more men she’s had, the more he loves her, because he loves corruption and hates everything that is pure. She throws off her red sash and clothes just like his dream and they make love in the clearing.
