On June 29, 2016, in the treacherous wilds of West Glacier, Montana, tragedy struck. Fearless law enforcement officer Brad Treat ventured into the heart of the unforgiving wilderness, challenging nature's wrath with unyielding determination.

As he pedaled with purpose, a monstrous grizzly bear emerged around a blind curve, unleashing its savage fury upon Brad. In a cataclysmic clash, the bear's primal instincts took over, and Brad's life was stolen in an unrelenting onslaught.

His companion fled, seeking aid from the encroaching darkness. Silence fell, the forest held its breath, mourning another victim of nature's unyielding darkness.
