What's the Difference Between the Innovator and Consumer Gear VR?

The Consumer Edition of the Gear VR offers several key benefits over the Samsung S6 Innovator Edition and costs half as much at $99 vs. $199. At the time of this video both editions were sold out but if you had your choice... you might choose one over the other based on the head straps, weight, compatibility with a wider range of phones or comfort. The biggest reason to choose the Consumer Edition is that it works well with glasses and is more widely available. Both editions should support this generation of Oculus virtual reality software. There have been some concerns about support for the Note4 Edition which I do not cover in this video comparison.
