Removable Blackout Window Covering from IKEA - Cheap, Easy, No Film, Shade, or Curtain!

A while back, I created my own custom paper window covering that would create a blackout effect in my room, using command adhesives. That worked alright, but took time and was difficult to store because it just sat on the ground when not in use. Well, IKEA has created a wonderful product called SCHOTTIS Pleated Blackout Blind that is only $5.99! I purchased one and confirmed that it works great! This is perfect for people who are renting and on a budget, people who cannot leave permanent marks, and those who might have struggled with the roll up window coverings or curtains that let light shine up above unless you use a cornice top covering (like in hotels). I hope this helps you! The link to buy your own from IKEA is https://www.ikea.com/us/en/search/products/?q=SCHOTTIS%20Pleated%20Blind and this is not an affiliate or paid review, just trying to help people! Please subscribe so I can help more in the future :)

Here's my original DIY blackout blind made from paper and Command Adhesive hooks. It let more light through and was difficult to store when not hanging up, but it didn't mar the paint as much or fall down as easily: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvTZXNlKVQY
