This takes the pain out of Excel spreadsheets, or logging your receipts and mileage into a notebook... really? You log your stuff in a notebook? Then you probably ride a dinosaur as well. Just kidding. This service automatically updates your daily income and lets you easily enter your expenses. I did my taxes in just 30 minutes because I had SherpaShare as a reference.

The service will walk you thru the email integration, then you can manually enter your expense info. Now tax time will be a cinch, and you can get daily info on your income and weekly/monthly/yearly averages.

Another tip: save your receipts in an envelope after you input the expense data. I mark each receipt with a pen or highlighter (check mark) after I enter the info so I know it's been done and I don't repeat it on accident.
