ONE exercise to help relieve knee cap pain | patellofemoral pain relief

Patellafemoral arthritis or knee cap pain??

Pain at or behind the knee cap can be triggered when the knee is bent and weight is going through it ☝🏽

This can be caused by a few different reasons primarily. One big one is having an imbalance in your thigh muscles or generalized weakness there that can put more stress on the knee cap and make it move differently than it’s meant to 🥴

To start receiving some of this irritation and pain- finding a balance in the quad muscles can be a good place to start. This exercise in particular requires very little knee bend, if any which is why I like it ✅

If you do have pain with this movement, there are some other seated and lying down options to help strengthen the quad muscles ☝🏽

⚠️Use support as needed to offload some pressure, help with balance and optimize form 👏🏼

The repetitions recommended are simply a suggestion and can be modified as necessary.
