How to Distress Jeans for cheap

Go to your local thrift store and purchase a pair of jeans that you can comfortable wear and destroy.

Tools:
Scissors
Serrated Knife
old magazine
chalk

Try on Jeans and mark up jeans.
Use chalk to mark up jeans where you want to the distressing to occur. Use a photo of distressed jeans for reference.
Place jeans on a flat surface and roll up a magazine and place in the pant leg that you will be distressing first.

Use small motions to cut up jeans with the serrated knife. Use fingers to pull threads out and continue this until you get the desired effect.
