Horseshoe Lake - Dingford Creek, Washington State

Horseshoe Lake is a seldom visited destination within the beautiful Alpine Lakes Wilderness of Washington state. As the snow melts and the temperatures rise, snowmelt swells the lake and outflow, forming a torrent of rushing water thundering down steep rocky cliff faces.

There is no trail to Horseshoe Lake. Getting there requires route finding and scrambling skills and determination. But for those that have what it takes your efforts are rewarded by being able to enjoy this tranquil crystal clear lake in solitude.
