In order to be readmitted to the U.S. after a temporary absence, Mexican citizens must present to the US Customs and Border Protection Officer at ports of entry their unexpired I-94 form and the mexican passport with the #TNVisa stamp on it.

In addition, under the Visa revalidation process, Mexican citizens may be readmitted to the U.S. with an expired TN Visa stamp in their passport in limited circumstances and if they hold a valid and unexpired I-94 record.

Finally, Mexican citizens may be readmitted to the U.S. with an expired I-94 form if they have in their passport a TN Visa stamp that is valid and unexpired and can present additional evidence to the U.S.
Border Inspector about their previous admission to the U.S. on a TN Status.
