How to do the Hundred Prep Exercise for Beginners #girlwiththepilatesmat #pilatesinstructor
One of the many benefits of Pilates and the reason I’ve been doing it for 25 years now is the way it calms the mind through breath control and strengthens the body through resistance, isometric and dynamic movement. The Hundred Prep exercise can be performed on the mat and the reformer and is the best way to prepare your body for the more challenging Hundred Exercise which many people struggle with. Practicing the prep will work all your deep core and abdominal muscles and it will also teach you the breath control needed to successfully achieve the full Hundred exercise.
