Grizzly Bear Attack in Ergaki National Park Claims Life of Tour Guide

June 21st, 2021 - As Mikhail Garin guided tourists through Ergaki National Park, an eerie silence fell over the forest. Something didn't feel right.

Through the fog, glowing eyes emerged, locked onto Mikhail. A hulking grizzly charged at him, saliva dripping from its jaws. Mikhail turned to run but tripped on roots as the beast closed in.

Its massive paws slammed into Mikhail's back, pinning him down. He opened his mouth to scream but the bear sunk its teeth into his torso before any sound escaped. Mikhail felt blinding pain as his ribs snapped under its crushing bite.

The bear thrashed him violently from side to side. When it finally let go, Mikhail lay still on the blood-soaked ground. By the time other tourists found the trail of crimson leading into the trees, it was too late to save the young guide. All that remained was an unearthly squeal fading into the mist.
