On board a Broadway Junction bound R143 J train from Broad Street to Broadway Junction
Seen here is a ride on a J train, operated by R143, bound for Broadway Junction.
Due to track replacement, J train service ran in two sections:
1. Jamaica Center and Crescent Street
2 Broad Street and Broadway Junction.
Passengers who want service along the Fulton Street section would have to take free shuttle service to connect to the next J train service for continuing service. In this video, I managed to catch me an R143 coming into Broad Street from the relay, that would be going to Broadway Junction. This ride was a short ride since it was terminating at Broadway Junction during the weekend, plus no delays. However, trains had to leave quickly due to work on the other platforms and was only coming in on one track because of that. But this trip was a quick one and no surprise that delays didn’t back it up, especially when it comes to M train service or work trains.
In the end, it did make another trip out as it went back down to Broad Street from the only track where work was done on the others.
