Clearing Minefields Without Setting Off Mines

Have you ever wondered how minefields can be safely cleared? Mines and improvised explosive devices can wreak havoc on soldiers and vehicles, so the M1 Assault Breacher was developed to effectively eliminate threats to troops.

This specially made vehicle is based on the classic M1 Abrams design. However, instead of the main gun, it comes equipped with two launchers that can shoot explosive charges. If an enemy minefield is suspected ahead, the two launchers can shoot C-4 high explosives around 100 meters in front of the tank. When these explode, any ground ordnance will detonate, thereby clearing a path for the infantry.

However, if the path is more than the explosives can reach, the soldiers can fit the vehicle with either a plow or a sled that can dig into the ground to push the explosives buried underneath to the side to be dealt with later.
