Joseph Stalin is considered one of the cruellest dictators throughout History. He was the Dictator of the Soviet Union who ordered a number of purges that resulted in the executions of millions of people. One woman who became a victim of Stalin's Great Purge was Rose Cohen who was a British citizen, and she had become one of the founder members of the British Communist Party. But Rose was a woman who was obsessed with politics, and she later moved to the Soviet Union and she married and had a child. But things would go very wrong for her family.

When Stalin launched his Great Purge, Rose and her husband had been warned and were told to leave but they had to stay as they could not secure a visa for their son. Rose was arrested and was accused of being a British spy, and because of this she was sentenced to death. Inside of a Moscow execution chamber, Rose Cohen was shot.
