The HORRIFIC Execution Of The Regicide RIPPED APART By Horses

Throughout History there have been many different execution methods used, but one of the most brutal was being torn apart of ripped apart by horses. It was reserved for the most serious of crimes including regicide, which was when someone plotted or tried to kill a monarch or King or Queen. This was the case for Michal Piekarski, a Polish man who plotted to assassinate King Sigismund III, the long reigning King of Poland. In 1620, Piekarski attacked the King using a light war axe, and he managed to hit the King a couple of times, before he was wrestled to the ground.

But Piekarski was then brought to trial and he was quickly sentenced to death for trying to assassinate the Polish King. He was to executed as he was pulled apart by horses in front of a huge crowd in Warsaw, and this shocked the crowd that day who were there to witness the proceedings.
