India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has achieved a significant milestone with the successful salvo launch of two Pralay missiles from the same launcher off the Odisha coast. This event, a part of the advanced user evaluation trials, demonstrated the Pralay missile’s rapid-fire capability and strategic readiness. Both missiles followed their designated trajectories and successfully accomplished all of their flight objectives, underlining the high precision and advanced technology integrated into these weapons.
The missile test was carried out at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, a critical testing site for India's defence and aerospace advancements. This successful launch not only showcases the technical prowess of DRDO but also reflects India's growing strength in missile technology, especially in the area of precision strike capabilities. The Pralay missile is a solid-propellant, quasi-ballistic, surface-to-surface weapon, designed for quick strikes and high accuracy during combat
Equipped with advanced guidance and navigation systems, the Pralay missile is capable of carrying out precision strikes on targets at varying ranges, ensuring that it can adapt to different tactical scenarios. The Pralay missile's launch highlights India’s growing self-reliance in defence technology and strengthens the country's deterrence capabilities, providing enhanced security in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
