Adine (the founder of HERD) recently spent a morning in the orphanage at the start of a beautiful day.

Joshua had recently returned from his time in Zimbabwe during the lockdown and was settling back into work. (So good to see his face again!)

Khanyisa and Lammie were standing patiently in the nursery anxiously awaiting Khanyisa's 6AM bottle that Joshua was preparing. You will see how Khanyisa's clever trunk knows exactly how to open the gate now!

After Khanyisa guzzled down her bottle from Joshua, Adine joined her and Lammie out into the orphanage gardens.

Adine took the opportunity to share her reasons why Khanyisa still sleeps in the orphanage and not with the elephant herd as of yet, a common question we get from followers!
