Cyndi Lauper has always been passionate about Broadway musicals, so much so that she ended up acting in the play "The Threepenny Opera", in 2006, alongside Alan Cumming, having received excellent reviews for her role as Jenny, in addition to being renowned as a composer of the songs from the musical "Kinky Boots", which won several Tony Awards, the Theater Oscar, including best soundtrack for Cyndi, who also won a Grammy for this work, among other very important awards.
