She Bop foi o terceiro single do álbum She’s So Unusual, e um dos maiores sucessos da carreira da Cyndi. Uma música que marcou a música pop e é sucesso até hoje.
Com um ritmo contagiante e um vídeo clipe divertido, She Bop conquistou os primeiros lugares das paradas no mundo inteiro.

Today, July 2, 2020, the classic She Bop celebrates 36 years since its launch and to celebrate, our vinyl record session of our Queen #CyndiLauper is with such great success.
She Bop was the third single from the album She’s So Unusual, and one of the biggest hits of Cyndi's career. A song that marked pop music and is a success until today.
With a contagious rhythm and a fun and very well produced video clip, She Bop won the top spots on the charts worldwide.
She Bop's lyrics talk about masturbation “Hey, hey they say I better get a chaperon, because I can't stop messin' with the danger zone. Hey, I won't worry, and I won't fret, ain't no law against it yet”
Cyndi says that when her mother found out what the lyrics were about she was surprised and asked "Are you talking about the parts down there ?!" lol
The music was the subject of protests, when a group of conservative Americans realized what Cyndi was talking about, but that only made the success even greater and today that is only part of the story.
