Back in #KYIV - March 2023 - #UKRAINE 🇺🇦 🇬🇧 🇷🇴

Hi guys, this is part of a recent aid run into Ukraine, heading on the last leg into Kyiv from Zhytomyr, about 140kms. This is just driving along the E40 or M06 Highway focusing on nothing in particular, except getting into Kyiv and then further to the North East.

So it is really just using up some remaining footage from the trip. Along the highway from about 60kms from Kyiv you will see signs of the war even from the road. Houses along the highway destroyed in certain areas like Makariv, then you can see the tank tracks in the highway and hear the noise as you drive over them. Checkposts still remain, some manned, some not, but all ready to be occupied again at a moments notice. You will see bridges that were detonated being repaired and drive over them and also the tank traps or hedgehogs and cement blocks everywhere.

You will also notice nearly all major road signs were spray-painted over with black paint on the way into Kyiv to confuse the Russian enemy. So there is a lot to see in terms of the impact on the final drive into Kyiv. On this one, we just drove through from left to right bank and kept going outside of Kyiv to unload our aid.
