Driving to Brasov, Romania, via DN1/E60, getting cold late Autumn/Toamna 2020, Part 1

This is the first part of me driving from Bucharest to Brasov in Romania, during late Autumn 2020, or Toamna in Romanian. Its about a 3 hour drive if you factor in at least one stop to stretch legs and get a coffee and the routs is via the DN1/E60 road. For those outside Europe, DN1 stands for Drumul National 1 in Romanian, or National Road 1 internally, but it also carries the European E-Road designation of E60, given the road runs from France through Europe to Kyrgyzstan.

Very scenic drive especially the section from Sinaia to Brasov, through Predeal. I made another video about 6 weeks earlier, going only as far as Sinaia at the base of the Bucegi Mountains or Southern Carpathians, and this time went further to Brasov, another 30kms through the mountains. I started filming going into the mountains around Banesti, as I covered this drive earlier and didn't want to bore anybody! I really wanted to show the contrast between early and late Autumn, only a few weeks before official winter. Very different in the mountains, the trees have splendid colours, the air is crisp and cold and the fog and drizzle start to set in.

This part also covers the drive further through Sinaia toward Predeal and Brasov. In Part 2, I will finish the drive to Brasov and show some footage in the centre of Old Town, as well as part of the drive back stopping in Predeal to look at Predeal Train Station.
