Lexus RCF Turo Rental Experience

I rented a 2015 Lexus RCF on Turo while on vacation. It's the fastest car I have ever driven, it would smoke my Mustang no problem. The Lexus RCF has a 5.0 liter v8 and an 8 speed transmission with paddle shifters. This thing accelerates at a ridiculous rate. The sound of the car sounds amazing inside while you're giving it some gas on straightaways.

I perform several acceleration test on my trip with the Lexus RCF that you have to see. The car is amazing.

1st Run 111mph
0:17 Wife Cop Alarm
0:25 Yours truly with the little monster Lexus, actually not so little it weighs 3,958 pounds.
0:27 Run 2 rolling start from 70mph – 119mph. Finished at 0:37 so it took 10 seconds from 70 to roughly 120mph. The car was only in Sport mode here.
0:44 Run 3 rolling start run from 72mph to 130mph at the 1:00 marker. Taking 16 seconds to increase the speed by 58 mph before the wife alarm at the 1 minute marker.

1:05 Run 4 Onramp Merging Power Test from 0mph in Sport + mode. 0mph to 92mph based on the GPS app from Google Maps took 15 seconds ending at 1:20. . The Google Maps speed however is on a slight delay but the speedometer from this run could not be seen.
Really nice blip on the downshift from this run. The Lexus RCF sounds amazing inside the car in real life when you have a little fun with it.
1:29 Run 5 And one of the best runs but the Speedo cannot be fully seen. Technically there are 3 speedometers to look at. There’s the digital one, the analog gages on the right of the digital gage, and the Google Maps GPS indicated speed.
At 1:48 The RCF achieved 142mph on a completely clear stretch of road from a GPS starting speed of 75mph. So it took 19 seconds to double the speed being traveled.
2:03 Another highway passing test. Run6.
2:10 Good driver etiquette person moves out of the fast lane to let me by.
2:16 Run 7 from 72mph to 135mph at 2:28. A total of 63mph increase in 12 seconds.
2:38 Car trip computer reflecting 29.5mpg after driving for awhile over 85mph. This Lexus with the v8 can easily do 25mpg on the highway with it’s 8 speed automatic.
2:57 Run 8 from 78mph to 145mph ending at 3:13 totaling 16 seconds. Added 67mph in a flash. This car is easy to fall in love with.
3:17 Wife tries to be cute and captures my sunburned face in the mirror.
3:45 Run 9 from 78mph in Sport + mode. At 4:05 the RCF hit my top speed for the trip at 152mph in only 20 seconds. That’s a total of 74mph added.
