Titanic tour Missing no more hope left All dead | Post gurad said something fishy

Five people are stuck in the tourist sub of the Titanic, and they only have a few hours of oxygen left.
Less than two hours into the journey to the Titanic wreckage, the 21-foot (6.5-meter) tourist boat lost contact with its mothership.
Late on Wednesday, with only hours left before the oxygen supply for the five people on board runs out, the search and rescue operation for a missing submarine near the debris of the Titanic reached a crucial stage.

While coast guard officials said they were "hopeful," the difficulty of finding and rescuing the crew alive seemed to grow as more resources and expertise were brought into the operation and sonar picked up unusual underwater noises.

"There are moments when you have to make a choice that isn't easy. USCG Capt. Jamie Frederick said, "We're not there yet. This is still, 100 percent, a search and rescue operation."

Multiple "underwater noises" were detected by sonar in the North Atlantic on Tuesday night and Wednesday, prompting the international reaction to concentrate its efforts in the area. This includes military aircraft from the United States and Canada, as well as coast guard ships and teleguided robots.

Experts have not been able to verify the origin of the sounds, but they have aroused hopes that the people aboard the small tourist vessel are still alive.

Frederick admitted, "We don't know what they are, to be frank with you," before adding, "We have to remain optimistic and hopeful."

Titan's dive began at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, and the US Coast Guard said it was scheduled to resurface seven hours later.

The submarine can store enough emergency air for up to 96 hours, but rescuers believe the people will likely run out of oxygen by Thursday morning.

Less than two hours into the expedition to see the Titanic's ruins, which are located more than two miles (almost four kilometres) below the surface of the North Atlantic, the 21-foot (6.5-meter) tourist boat lost contact with its mothership.British businessman Hamish Harding, Pakistani mogul Shahzada Dawood, and his son Suleman, who also hold British citizenship, were all on board the submersible Titan.

A trip on the submarine with OceanGate Expeditions will set you back $250,000.

Titanic Man
CEO Stockton Rush and French submarine operator Paul-Henri Nargeolet, also known as "Mr Titanic" because to his repeated dives to the site, are also aboard.Approximately 400 miles off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada, ships and planes have searched an area of surface water equal to 10,000 square miles (approximately 20,000 square kilometres) — roughly the size of Massachusetts — for the missing vessel.

A Canadian P-3 plane heard the noises, and in response, rescuers moved two underwater-searching remotely operated vehicles (ROV) and one surface vessel equipped with sonar. No findings were found using ROVs, however the Canadian aircraft data was sent to the US Navy for acoustic study.

"There have been multiple reports of noises, and all of those noises are being analysed," said Carl Hartsfield of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.

The sounds, he continued, "have been described as banging noises."

Within 24 to 48 hours, Frederick added, the search would expand from five surface vessels to ten.

The Navy has dispatched troops and equipment, including a specialised winch system for lifting huge objects from deep depths, while the Pentagon has despatched three C-130 planes and three C-17s.

On Wednesday afternoon, a deep-sea underwater robot dispatched by the French oceanographic institute was expected to arrive. There was also a Canadian medical ship with a decompression chamber on its way.Due to unfavourable weather, Harding predicted that his Titan mission would be the sole manned visit to Titan this year.

In 1912, on its maiden voyage from England to New York, the Titanic collided with an iceberg and perished, taking 2,224 lives along with it. Over 1,500 people lost their lives.

It was discovered in 1985 and has since then continued to draw divers and ocean enthusiasts.

In comparison to the pressure at sea level, the pressure at that depth is 400 times higher.
