Is Cryptocurrency a good investment??

Let me guess, you "know" someone that got rich off of Bitcoin or another crypto and now you are having FOMO. (Fear of missing out).
This is a natural feeling but also one that can you get you in a lot of trouble.

Rushing into any type of investment or transaction without doing your due diligence leaves most people empty handed.

“Never invest in a business you can’t understand.” Warren Buffet

Crypto, just like any other type of investment, is NEVER guaranteed and nobody truly KNOWS if it is going up or down. If someone tells you they know, run.

Speculative investing, such as crypto should only be reserved for those who have discretionary funds.

Ask yourself these questions first: Am I debt free? Are my retirement accounts funded? Are my kid's college tuitions saved for? Is my emergency fund loaded? If you can answer YES to all of those, then maybe. MAYBE.

With all of that being said I do believe in the technology behind it and I am confident that it is the future of currency.
