WHAT BREAD TO EAT? Healthy Breads in India | White bread vs Brown Bread vs Wholewheat Bread vs Multigrain Bread
In this video I am going to tell you what bread should you eat based on composition and nutrition of breads in the market. The 4 main types of bread discussed in this video are white bread, brown bread, wholewheat bread and multigrain bread.
The best way to select a healthy bread to eat is to look at the ingredients list. If a bread is almost entirely made of white refined flour, it would be low in fibre and minerals. Brown bread is also not a whole lot better than white bread as you will find in this video. Whereas, if a bread majorly contains wholewheat or wholegrain flour, it would be low in starch and higher in fibre and minerals. If you can bake your own bread at home, by all means do it; if not, go for the wholewheat or wholegrain variety of bread. Also, like with most processed foods, be wary of the amount of bread you or your kids eat on a daily basis.
