Detecting around the cellar hole at the old farm the relics were hiding from us for a while. We worked the old fields and side yard and found some old buttons and buckles. It was when we go up close to this 1700s cellar and started metal detecting near the rock walls the signals started showing up. Lots of artifacts from the 1800s like clock work pieces, bale seals , utensils and such. With so much history at this old places you know there is stuff buried in the ground. It just takes a while sometimes exploring to find the hot spot.
