Metal detecting where a house burnt down 100 years ago

All that is left is the cellar hole and the relics from this home that burnt down 100 years ago. We are metal detecting this site and relic hunting to see what we can find in the ground around where the house was. We actually found a lot of old stuff and most of it from the 1800s in the dirt . With so much history at this old New England farm you know there are old things to be found. Old buttons, tools, coins and glass bottles are some of the finds we got just picking around in the junk sheet metal. Relic hunting at a place like this that goes back to the 1700s is very interesting and great to see the stone walls all around the farm. A lot of the old stuff was not even that deep in the ground we found.
