Locating abandoned colonial 1700's sites that are now just the remains of a cellar hole or footprint way out in the woods of New Hampshire. With research, hiking & exploring the forest there are old homesites lost to history out in the woods. Using a metal detector to find the iron beds from of the nails that are from where the structure once stood is a huge help. Well, today i found one and dug up some great 1700's relics such as buttons, thimbles, bucked and more using the Garrett ATGOLD metal detector here in NH.
