We go out searching for this lost to history colonial home on the hill. We hike for what seemed like days to find the location buried in the hills which is now thick forest. This homesite was abandoned around 200 years ago and all that remains is the cellar hole were the house once stood.
So we get to metal detecting and right away we are digging up relics at a rapid rate and realizing the place has not been hit . Digger charlie finds a set off cufflinks in his first plug and then the action never stops as Keebler digs us multiple shoe buckles.
On this day we found more 1700's colonial coins at this site then any other including King George's KG II KG III & an Ireland half penny Hibernia coin. Shoe buckles , knee buckles and an amazing continental Navy officers button from the american revolution.
