Found in the Trash - Dresser Restoration

I found this dresser at the side of the road. It was in poor shape, with flaking finish, wobbly legs and failing joints. The whole thing was quite rough and needed some much needed TLC. I disassembled the entire dresser into it's individual pieces, removed all of the existing finish and gave every piece a thorough sanding. My restoration efforts uncovered a lovely solid hardwood dresser, which turned out much better than I had hoped. I replaced the drawer bottoms with new birch plywood, and replaced the old handles with new black solid metal handles. The whole unit is now remarkably solid, and I'm certain it will survive for decades to come!
