Hi, I'm Wes McConnell. I'm a pulmonologist. I do critical care medicine transplant for lungs. And I also take care of pulmonary hypertension patients. I really have a great time at work. I really enjoy what I do every day and I love my patients. That's really, uh, why I do what I do. Well. I usually believe that patients and physicians should have a contract that whatever the patient's goals are, we need to work toward. They're not always my goals, but it should be the patient's goals. My goal is to try to get a patient, to have the best healthcare and the best life that they can. I'm originally from Los mountain, Georgia. And I went to the university of Georgia and then the medical college of Georgia. But I came to Kentucky because of a woman. And after 37 years, she's still my wife. So she's a Kentucky girl, uh, from Winchester, Kentucky. And that's why I'm still in Kentucky. I hang out with my friends, I hike and I like to garden. I love playing bridge. And, uh, just being with friends and family.
