Generations Of Love (2 Farley & Heller Mixes- VINYL ONLY) BOY GEORGE / JESUS LOVES YOU

The two mixes heard here are from 1991 set of remixes made for the Jesus Loves You single, "Generations Of Love". The first one was initially titled "The Road 2 Basra Mix", and of the over 50 official remixes of this song, it remains my favorite. The second mix here is the "Love Dub" version- which was intended to be on the same 12" single as track one, but that record was mis-pressed and featured the wrong tracks. Fortunately for collectors, that dub version DID appear on the advance promo 12", but it is not very easy to find.

Neither of these mixes have ever appeared on CD.

This release marks the last record MC Kinky would make with Boy George, as tensions between the two artists would cause a chasm in their friendship and professional lives that continues to this day. The other rap vocalist in this recording is Amos Pizzey, longtime associate who began work with George as a teenager in Culture Club on tracks like "Love Twist" and "Murder Rap Trap". He can also be heard on the remixes of "Everything I Own" ('87 versions) and would continue working with George up until the end of More Protein in 1995 as vocalist, performer, and songwriter.
