Three separate shootings in Kansas City Sunday evening left three people dead, with investigators treating each as a homicide. Police say there are no suspects in custody and no evidence linking the incidents. The first shooting occurred near 110th Terrace and Greenwood, where a teenager was brought by private vehicle to a fire station and later pronounced dead; he was identified as 17-year-old Demetrius Smith. The second occurred in the 7200 block of East 85th Terrace, with a teen victim transported by private vehicle and later pronounced dead; the victim was 15-year-old Cavazion Williams. The third happened around 9and15 p.m. at 97th and Holmes, where officers found an unresponsive man, later identified as 29-year-old William Hunter, dead at the scene or en route to hospital. Police emphasize there is no indication the shootings are connected and will pursue all leads via homicide detectives and the anonymous tips line. Tips welcome.
