Overland Park police are investigating a road rage incident where a man was pistol-whipped and shot at. The incident occurred near West 162nd and Travis streets after a driver reportedly signaled for another to slow down due to erratic driving. The confrontation escalated, with one man pulling a gun, pistol-whipping the other, and firing shots, none of which hit the victim. The suspect fled in a gray sedan. The 59-year-old victim was hospitalized and is expected to recover. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or the TIPS hotline.
