Champs (Footwork + Hand-eye)
Full practice below!
1. As always, warm up and stretch to start!
2. Leg Conditioning:
-Squats (1 min or 20-30 times)
-Jump Squats or Squat Calf Raises (1 min or 20-30 times)
-Squat Hold (1 min)
3. Footwork: (1-2 mins each)
-Forward and backward steps
-Left and right steps
-All 4 directions
-(Add additional rounds for any intermediate/advanced footwork you know)
4. Hand-Eye: (requires a ball, 1-2 min each)
-Bounce and grab
-Toss and grab
-Dribble
(Make sure you start and finish in stance, grab the ball out of the air, don’t wait for the ball to fall into your palm!)
5. Finish with 3 rounds or shadow boxing or hitting a heavy bag if you have one available to you (2 min each round)
