A Mysterious Spy Mission in World War 2 - Special Operations Executive

During World War 2 the Special Operations Executive (S.O.E) were responsible for carrying out espionage, reconnaissance and sabotage missions behind enemy lines.

Using their fleet of Westland Lysander aircraft, the S.O.E landed and collected countless agents across northern Europe. One of these agents was a spy by the name of Philip Schneidau.

For 10 days Schneidau collected intelligence for the British Government before returning to England in one of the S.O.E's Westland Lysander's flown by an RAF pilot called Wally Farley.

Wallace Farley would become one of the S.O.E's most experienced special operations pilots, but he would be killed in a highly mysterious operation in 1942.
