#Seiko 62-series watches: How to remove the stem & crown

Stem removal on Seiko 62-series watch movements (such as 6206, 6217, 6218, etc.) in easy steps:

1. Do not pull the crown out to the first or second click.
2. Use something with a fine point to push on the stem release dimple.
3. While pushing on the dimple (not too hard), gently pull the stem out.

To replace the stem, I find it easier to press the dimple again while pushing in the crown and stem carefully. Note that this video is relevant for watches that don't have a one-piece (monocoque) case.
