Seiko Meca-Quartz Chronograph Review: 8T67-00C0 (SBTR005)
A quick review of the Seiko 8T67-00C0 (SBTR005) watch, a meca-quartz chronograph (sometimes spelled mecha-quartz). This means the movement is quartz (battery-powered) but the chronograph (stopwatch) function is mechanically controlled. Some benefits of this are:
* A nice tactile feel when you press the start/stop and reset pushers
* The stopwatch seconds hand sweeps around the dial
* The stopwatch hands instantly return to their starting positions when reset
Seiko also brands this movement as VK67. Get more details, including downloadable PDF instructions and technical guide, here:

Watch specs:
* Movement: 8T67 / VK67 (quartz movement with mechanical chronograph)
* Case material: Stainless steel
* Crystal material: Glass (Hardlex)
* Lug width: 20mm
* Case width: 41mm (excluding crown)
* Case thickness: 12mm
* Water resistance: 100m (10 bar)
