Chest hooping is an awesome skill that will unlock lots of moves. It is not something that happens over night. Some are put off, as it can seem impossible at the beginning. It is not easy, that is true. But it is definitely not impossible! Especially with my chest hooping training technique!

This is great if you want to train for hoop splits / multi-hooping.

In this tutorial I will
💥 Go though chest hooping technique
💥 Give exercises to prepare your body for chest hooping
💥 Show you how to get it up - waist to chest
💥 Give a 14 min training exercise (if you repeat this you will be able to chest hoop)
Warm up and cool down.
I have not included any warm up or cool down in this video. However I advise that you do this before and after your hula hoop workout.

Which Hoop?
You want to practice chest hooping with a medium weighted hoop with grip tape (this will make it easier). The one I’m using in this tutorial is 90cm in diameter with 20mm thickness tubing.

You might flow with a lighter hoop, however when learning a new on-body skill I like to use something a bit heavier than my normal hoop. This means that I can focus on getting the technique before I need to pick up the speed.
