Huge wave wipes out man as Storm Ciaran hits
A person was upended and drenched by powerful wave that broke over a sea wall as Storm Ciaran impacted Dover, on the south coast of England, on Thursday, November 2.
The storm led to school closures and power outages in more than 6,000 homes, local media reported.
The UK Met Office had warned that the strongest winds on Thursday would be in the southeast of England. Wind gusts of up to 80 mph were possible, they said.
