EVO Gold Fretwire - Does It Last? Recrowning with the Z-File

After almost 11 years of hard playing, you can see there is minimal wear and it only took a few passes with the Z-File to reshape the crown to a nice, smooth crown. The Z-File works great. It is the "Original" version with the asymmetrical diamond cutting surfaces. I highly recommend EVO-Gold frets if you are on the fence between SS and EVO. I think SS frets may be a little too bright sounding.
