ESL easy English Clothes video by LearnPlayAnglais is a video made for kids to practice clothing vocabulary using easy English.

Hello there!
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our ESL video about clothing! Please note that this video is in easy English and in French, for all of our French friends watching at home (or school) in France.

Today, Gobo (the classroom puppet) and I will use our online ESL classroom to teach you easy English vocabulary words pertaining to clothing. Here at LearnPlayAnglais we like to have fun while learning easy English words and there’s no body better than our classroom puppet to help us get the job done.

Please note that this “Life in Florida” series has been made especially to share our experience of moving to the U.S. for a year with a classroom of French elementary students. In these videos kids will learn about what it's like to live and go to school in Miami, Florida.
What is it like to be a new kid in a new country? Follow along with Gobo and Danielle as they answer questions about life in Miami from kids in an elementary school in France.

Now that you know what we’ll be talking about in our online classroom, I’d like to introduce you to the only rule in our classroom: NEVER, EVER, EVER use the word puppet!! Why? Well, you’ll probably already have noticed that Gobo is not a human… He's actually our classroom puppet! But he doesn't know that, so whatever you do, please don't tell him! That’s it! If you can keep that promise, then you can join our ESL classroom.

About my lessons:
All of the teaching techniques that I use in this video are just like the ones that I use in my ESL (English as a Second Language) classroom. That means that I read and speak with a lot of expression, body language, enthusiasm and that I also make a point of speaking in a clear manner.

It’s also very important to me that I use “real, everyday life” easy English and that my students get accustomed to hearing it. So, although I do make an effort to be understood in a clear manner, I also try my best to keep things as natural as possible. Besides, no one likes talking to a robot (or at least not yet!).

Why do I engage in a simple English conversation with Gobo before I start my lessons?
Well, for starters, it's a great way to start a lesson as I can introduce objects or subjects to the students THROUGH Gobo. This allows for my students to discuss Gobo's reaction to whatever topics that I have in mind or anything else that he mentions, for that matter.
