The book Pumpkin Soup is read aloud to a children's ESL class by Danielle and commented on by her classroom friend (he doesn't know that he's a puppet!) Gobo. In this video, Danielle reads Pumpkin Soup the same way that she would read the book to her classroom of young English language learners. That means that she reads with a lot of expression, body language, enthusiasm and she also makes a point of speaking in a clear manner.

Before reading the book Danielle will engage in a simple English conversation with Gobo. One that allows for the students in her class to discuss Gobo's reaction to Halloween, the book Pumpkin Soup, and anything else that he mentions.
