Life with Gobo: "Stealing Snacks": an ESL discussion starter video for online ESL classes

In this ESL class discussion starter, Gobo has started to steal snacks from people. You can use this video as an ESL class starter and ask your students to describe the scene that they just watched. As your ESL students to come up with reasons as to why Gobo did what he did and what Danielle's reaction was like. Ask you ESL students what they would do if someone did the same thing to them?

After watching this ESL classroom discussion starter, you can then move into other ESL topics like food and relationships. As an extension, as your students to act out the scene themselves as another student acts as the narrator and describes the scene as it plays out.
