Hello there!
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video! Today, Gobo and I will be talking about how you can make your own New Year's Resolutions . Please make sure to watch until the end, because we have a little bloopers surprise to share with you.

Now that you know what we’ll be doing I’d like to introduce you to the only rule in our classroom: NEVER, EVER, EVER use the word puppet!! Why? Well, you’ll probably already have noticed that Gobo is not a human… But he doesn't know that, so whatever you do, please don't tell him! That’s it! If you can keep that promise, then you can join our classroom.

About my lessons:
All of the techniques that I use in this video are just like the ones that I use in my ESL (English as a Second Language) classroom. That means that I read and speak with a lot of expression, body language, enthusiasm and that I also make a point of speaking in a clear manner.

It’s also very important to me that I use “real, everyday life” English and that my students get accustomed to hearing it. So, although I do make an effort to be understood in a clear manner, I also try my best to keep things as natural as possible. Besides, no one likes talking to a robot (or at least not yet!).

Why do I engage in a simple English conversation with Gobo before I start my lessons?
Well, for starters, it's a great way to start a lesson as I can introduce objects or subjects to the students THROUGH Gobo. This allows for my students to discuss Gobo's reaction to whatever topics that I have in mind or anything else that he mentions, for that matter.
