Davy Jones - Never Will I Ever (1965 Acetate)
(Writer Unknown) This came from an actual acetate record David found in England. David's father had recorded many of David's recordings from the source to a reel tape using one hand-held microphone. David actually tracked down this one with "I Want To Love You" on the B-side. I took the recording of the acetate and cleaned it up as best I could for all to enjoy. This was more of the direction David wanted to go with his Colpix LP. Unfortunately, Hank Levine was brought in to give an "image" to David for his first American LP. Although it does have it's enjoyable tracks, David wanted more American Rock type songs and Levine wanted Anthony Newly!
I think this track still shines today!
