The Monkees Higher & Higher/Bach Invention (Live 2001)

Higher & Higher - written by Gary Jackson, Raynard Miner, and Carl Smith and made famous by Jackie Wilson and in the later 70's by Rita Coolidge. One of Peter's favorites over the years. In fact, he released it on his first ever single released in February of 1981 as, "Peter Tork & The New Monks". He kept the song part of his solo acts over the years including, "The Peter Tork Project" along with The Monkees.

Coupled here with a keyboard performance of a piece by Johann Sebastian Bach. Keeping The Monkees great wit and on stage banter they were famous for! We miss you Peter & Davy!
