Salomé: Grand Choeur in G, Op.68 No.2 | Pep Organ

Théodore Salomé was a well-respected French organist, composer and teacher of the 19th century. He served as the organist of the Église de la Sainte-Trinité in Paris, and performed and improvised for many special occasions, including the funeral of Georges Bizet (composer of the opera Carmen). Many of his piano works were also included in the "Patheon of Pianists" volume by editor Henry Lemoine – however, his church work always came first.
Salomé was described in 1893 as a handsome man, "with his fine silver hair, slender, gentle face, pink cheeks, tender mouth and appealing brown eyes, dressed in an easy dark coat and vest, with gray trousers, and no evident personal ambition".
