Powerlifter with autism dominates National Championships
When Grace Payne was diagnosed as a child with autism her parents were told she would never talk or walk. But Toni and James Payne have done all they can to aid and support their daughter. Grace discovered that she shares a love of powerlifting and has competed in the Special Olympics as an autistic athlete. Now, with the whole Payne family supporting her, Grace has entered her first mainstream event, the NZ National Powerlifting Championship.
