Cait Lawrence (They/Them) identifies as being Queer/ Non-binary person who lives with three main conditions: Hyper Mobile Spectrum disorder, Functional Neurological Syndrome and Mental Health issues. Rimu Bhooi (They/Them) is Queer and Trans Non-binary, they have had endo symptoms for about a decade now, but only got diagnosed a year ago. It affects the entirety of their life.

Queer Disabled people are more likely to be misgendered in the healthcare system as they are accessing it more frequently than there Queer able-bodied counterparts. Both Cait and Rimu are currently fighting the good fight (along with others) to highlight the need to have gender affirming health care and support.
